Both the Quattroporte and the S7 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems and around view monitors.

This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The S7 doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

For better traction and acceleration, the Quattroporte has larger standard rear tires than the S7 (275/40R19 vs. 255/40R20). The Quattroporte’s optional rear tires are larger than the largest rear tires available on the S7 (285/35R20 vs. 255/40R20).

The Quattroporte’s optional 285/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the S7’s optional 35 series tires.

The Quattroporte has a standard space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the S7; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.

The Quattroporte has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The S7 doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The Quattroporte’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The S7 does not have an oil pressure gauge.

The Quattroporte’s power window, power lock, power mirror and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The S7’s cruise control switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Quattroporte to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The S7 doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

A power rear sunshade and rear side window sunshades are standard in the Quattroporte to help block heat and glare for the rear passengers. The S7 doesn’t offer a rear sunshade.

Optional air conditioned front and rear seats keep the Quattroporte’s passengers comfortable and take the sting out of hot leather in summer. The S7 doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats in the rear.

The Quattroporte offers an optional 115-volt a/c outlet on the center console, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The S7 doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
