To make loading and unloading groceries and cargo easier, especially for short adults, the Land Cruiser has a standard power tailgate, which opens and closes automatically by pressing a button. The GX460 doesn’t offer a power cargo door.

The Land Cruiser’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The GX460 does not have an oil pressure gauge.

The Land Cruiser’s rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The GX460’s standard manually variable intermittent wipers have to be constantly adjusted.

The Land Cruiser has a standard heated steering wheel to take the chill out of steering on extremely cold winter days before the vehicle heater warms up. A heated steering wheel is only available on the GX460 Luxury.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Toyota Land Cruiser has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console. The GX460 doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.
