Lincoln’s powertrain warranty covers the Nautilus 2 years and 20,000 miles longer than Audi covers the Allroad. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 6 years or 70,000 miles. Coverage on the Allroad ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

There are almost 3 times as many Lincoln dealers as there are Audi dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Nautilus’ warranty.

J.D. Power and Associates rated the Nautilus third among midsize premium suvs in their 2019 Initial Quality Study. The Allroad isn’t in the top three in its category.

The Nautilus has 2.7 gallons more fuel capacity than the Allroad (18 vs. 15.3 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

The Nautilus has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Allroad doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

The Nautilus 2.7 Turbo can be flat towed on all four wheels (dinghy towed), allowing recreational vehicle owners to bring it with them on the road. When they reach their destination, the Nautilus can be unhitched and driven around locally. The Allroad can’t be towed flat on the ground.

The Nautilus has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Allroad doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The Nautilus’ standard easy entry system glides the driver’s seat back, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. The Allroad doesn’t offer an easy entry system.

If the windows are left open on the Nautilus the driver can close them all at the outside door handle or from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can also lower the windows the same way. The driver of the Allroad can’t use the remote to operate the windows.

In case you lock your keys in your vehicle, or don’t have them with you, you can let yourself in using the Nautilus’ exterior PIN entry system. The Allroad doesn’t offer an exterior PIN entry system.

The Allroad’s cornering lamps activate a lamp on the front corner when the turn signal is activated. The Nautilus (except Standard)’s optional adaptive cornering lights turn the actual headlight unit up to several degrees, depending on steering wheel angle and vehicle speed. This lights a significant distance into corners at any speed.

The Nautilus offers an optional 115-volt a/c outlet in the cargo area, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The Allroad doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.

The Nautilus (except Standard)’s optional Active Park Assist can parallel park by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The Allroad doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
