The Grand Cherokee SRT has standard Uconnect Access, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The Bentayga doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.

Both the Grand Cherokee SRT and the Bentayga have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, height adjustable front shoulder belts, plastic fuel tanks, four-wheel antilock brakes, all-wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, blind spot warning systems and rearview cameras.

Jeep’s powertrain warranty covers the Grand Cherokee SRT 2 years longer than Bentley covers the Bentayga. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the Bentayga ends after only 3 years.

The Grand Cherokee SRT’s corrosion warranty is 2 years longer than the Bentayga’s (5 vs. 3 years).

There are almost 53 times as many Jeep dealers as there are Bentley dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Grand Cherokee SRT’s warranty.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT’s engine uses a cast iron block for durability, while the Bentayga’s engines use an aluminum block. Aluminum engine blocks are much more prone to warp and crack at high temperatures than cast iron.

The Grand Cherokee SRT has 2.1 gallons more fuel capacity than the Bentayga (24.6 vs. 22.5 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

The Grand Cherokee SRT has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Bentayga doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

For better traction, the Grand Cherokee SRT has larger tires than the Bentayga (295/45R20 vs. 275/50R20). The Grand Cherokee SRT’s tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Bentayga (295/45R20 vs. 285/45R21).

The Grand Cherokee SRT’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 45 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Bentayga’s standard 50 series tires.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires standard on the Grand Cherokee SRT can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Bentayga doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Grand Cherokee SRT’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (55% to 45%) than the Bentayga’s (57.5% to 42.5%). This gives the Grand Cherokee SRT more stable handling and braking.

The Grand Cherokee SRT handles at .88 G’s, while the Bentayga pulls only .82 G’s of cornering force in a Motor Trend skidpad test.

For better maneuverability, the Grand Cherokee SRT’s turning circle is 2.6 feet tighter than the Bentayga’s (38 feet vs. 40.6 feet).

The Grand Cherokee SRT uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The Bentayga doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The Grand Cherokee SRT’s standard rear seats fold to accommodate long and bulky cargo. The Bentayga w/Four Seat Comfort Specification doesn’t offer folding rear seats, only a ski pass-through.

The Grand Cherokee SRT’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The Bentayga does not have an oil pressure gauge.

The Grand Cherokee SRT’s power window, power lock, power mirror and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The Bentayga’s cruise control switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Grand Cherokee SRT has a standard rear fixed intermittent wiper with a full on position. The rear wiper standard on the Bentayga only has an intermittent setting, so in a hard rain visibility isn’t as good.

The Grand Cherokee SRT has a standard heated steering wheel to take the chill out of steering on extremely cold winter days before the vehicle heater warms up. A heated steering wheel costs extra on the Bentayga.

The Grand Cherokee SRT has a 115-volt a/c outlet on the center console, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The Bentayga doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
