Both the Q60 and the ATS Coupe have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, rearview cameras, available all wheel drive, crash mitigating brakes, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems and rear cross-path warning.

The Q60’s corrosion warranty is 1 year longer than the ATS Coupe’s (7 vs. 6 years).

For better traction, the Q60 has larger standard tires than the ATS Coupe (255/40R19 vs. 225/40R18). The Q60 Red Sport 400’s tires are larger than the largest tires available on the ATS Coupe (F:255/35R20 & R:275/30R20 vs. F:225/40R18 & R:255/35R18).

The Q60 Red Sport 400’s 255/35R20 front and 275/30R20 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the ATS Coupe’s 40 series front and 35 series rear tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Q60 has standard 19-inch wheels. Only 18-inch wheels are available on the ATS Coupe. The Q60 Red Sport 400 has standard 20-inch wheels.

With its coupe body style, valet key, locking rear seatbacks and remote trunk release lockout, the Q60 offers cargo security. The ATS Coupe’s non-lockable folding seat defeats cargo security.

The Q60’s standard power windows have a locking feature to keep children from operating them. Cadillac does not offer a locking feature on the ATS Coupe’s standard power windows.

If the windows are left open on the Q60 the driver can close them all at the outside door handle. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows at the outside door handle or from a distance using the keyless remote. The driver of the ATS Coupe can only operate the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

The Q60’s standard speed-sensitive wipers speed up when the vehicle does, so that the driver doesn’t have to continually adjust the speed of the wipers. The ATS Coupe’s standard manually variable intermittent wipers have to be constantly adjusted.
