To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, All-Wheel Drive is standard on the Flying Spur. But it costs extra on the Panamera.

To help make backing safer, the Flying Spur’s optional cross-path warning system uses wide-angle radar in the rear bumper to alert the driver to vehicles approaching from the side, helping the driver avoid collisions. The Panamera doesn’t offer a cross-path warning system.

Both the Flying Spur and the Panamera have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front and rear side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, rearview cameras, available crash mitigating brakes, night vision systems, lane departure warning systems and around view monitors.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Bentley Flying Spur offers an optional wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console. The Panamera doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.

The Flying Spur’s optional Park Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The Panamera doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
