To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, All-Wheel Drive is standard on the R8. But it costs extra on the AMG C-Class Cabriolet.

The R8 V10 Performance’s standard fuel tank has 1.9 gallons more fuel capacity than the AMG C-Class Cabriolet (19.3 vs. 17.4 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups. The R8’s standard fuel tank has 4.5 gallons more fuel capacity than the AMG C-Class Cabriolet (21.9 vs. 17.4 gallons).

The R8 has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The AMG C-Class Cabriolet doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.
