For enhanced safety, the front seat shoulder belts of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio are height-adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of driver and passenger heights. A better fit can prevent injuries and the increased comfort also encourages passengers to buckle up. The Aston Martin DBX doesn’t offer height-adjustable seat belts.

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio’s optional driver alert monitor detects an inattentive driver then sounds a warning and suggests a break. According to the NHTSA, drivers who fall asleep cause about 100,000 crashes and 1500 deaths a year. The DBX doesn’t offer a driver alert monitor.

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio has standard SOS Call, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to help track down your vehicle if it’s stolen or send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The DBX doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.

Both the Stelvio Quadrifoglio and the DBX have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning and available lane departure warning systems.

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio comes with a full 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The DBX’s 3-year basic warranty expires 1 year sooner.

There are over 4 times as many Alfa Romeo dealers as there are Aston Martin dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Stelvio Quadrifoglio’s warranty.

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio offers optional heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The DBX doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

For better maneuverability, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio’s turning circle is 1 foot tighter than the DBX’s (39.7 feet vs. 40.7 feet).

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The DBX doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Stelvio Quadrifoglio to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The DBX doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio has a standard rear wiper. The DBX doesn’t offer a rear wiper.

To help drivers see further while navigating curves, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle. The DBX doesn’t offer cornering lights.
