Mr. Craig Monaghan
Mr. Craig Monaghan serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Monaghan joined Asbury as Chief Financial Officer in May 2008 after holding the position of Chief Financial Officer at Sears Holdings Corp. Prior to joining Sears, Mr. Monaghan served as Chief Financial Officer of AutoNation, Inc., the nation's largest automotive retailer. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer of iVillage.com, which he helped take public in 1999. Earlier in his career, he was with Reader's Digest Association, Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and General Motors Corp. Mr. Monaghan holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University, which he attended on a ROTC scholarship. After graduation, he completed his service in the United States Army, rising to the rank of Captain before returning to school and earning his M.B.A. at The Wharton School of Business.

Mr. Michael S. Kearney
EVP & COO
Mr. Michael S. Kearney serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In 1990, Mr. Kearney joined Asbury’s Crown Automotive Group as Chief Financial Officer. In 2000, he assumed the role of President and CEO, and then President of Asbury’s former Eastern Region (which included North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida) in 2008. Crown, which grew from 8 to 18 dealerships throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey and Virginia, merged with Asbury in 1998, and Mr. Kearney was one of the principals responsible for the public offering in 2002. Mr. Kearney received his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary, and an M.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Mr. Scott J. Krenz
SVP & CFO
Mr. Scott J. Krenz serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Krenz joined Asbury in June 2011 after holding the position of Chief Financial Officer at Heidrick & Struggles, a $600 million global leadership advisory firm based in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Navigant Consulting. He spent over 20 years in various technology firms, including Electronic Data Systems Corporation, and holds a CPA certificate in Illinois. Krenz has both a B.A. in History from Northwestern University, and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from Tulane University.
Ms. Teresa Devine
VP & CIO
Ms. Teresa Devine serves as Asbury’s Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Previously, she served as VP of Product Development at Bridgevine, Inc., where she led system integrations with Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Comcast and Time Warner Cable that powers big-box retailers including Dell, Office Depot and Sears. In addition, she was Senior Director of Information Technology, overseeing software development both in the U.S. and overseas. Prior to joining Bridgevine, she spent 5 years specializing in online strategies, including search marketing, social media and eCommerce platforms. Ms. Devine is an Indiana native, and studied at Indiana University.
Ms. Barbara Jesup
Chief Audit Executive
Ms. Barbara Jesup serves as Chief Audit Executive, and is responsible for internal auditing and Sarbanes-Oxley reporting compliance. Ms. Jesup brings over 20 years of experience in public accounting and internal audit for public companies, including Ernst & Young; AFC Enterprises, Inc.; First Data; Intercontinental Hotel Group; and First Tennessee Bank. She holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Southern Methodist University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. George C. Karolis
VP, Corp. Dev. & RE
Mr. George C. Karolis serves as Vice President of Corporate Development and Real Estate, and is responsible for national purchasing initiatives, acquiring new dealerships and managing the company’s real estate portfolio. Prior to joining Asbury, he worked with Arthur Andersen in its transaction advisory services group in New York City where he provided transaction support for several large private equity groups and other large clients, including Asbury Automotive Group. Mr. Karolis graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seton Hall University in New Jersey and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Ryan T. Marsh
VP & Treasurer
Mr. Ryan T. Marsh serves as VP & Treasurer for Asbury. Mr. Marsh joined the company following six years of investment banking experience. Before joining Asbury, he served as a Vice President with Citigroup Global Markets. Prior to investment banking, Mr. Marsh served as an armor officer in the U.S. Army for five years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and his M.B.A. from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
Mr. Matthew J. Mees
VP, Manufacturer Relations
Mr. Matthew J. Mees serves Asbury as Vice President of Manufacturer Relations. Mr. Mees joined Asbury in June 2002 following a 17-year career with DaimlerChrysler. Mr. Mees' responsibilities include facilitating communication and building relationships between our dealers, the manufacturers and Asbury's home office. He works closely with Asbury's acquisition team to identify opportunities for each of our platforms, as well as identify available dealerships through each of the manufacturers. His responsibilities also include understanding the policies and programs set forth by the manufacturers. While at Chrysler, Mr. Mees worked exclusively in their field organization and held various management and executive positions with responsibilities in sales, service, parts and marketing. Mr. Mees holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College.
Mr. Joe Parham
VP & CHRO
Mr. Joe Parham serves Asbury as Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. He was most recently senior vice president of human resources at Acuity Brands, Inc., a $2.4 billion lighting fixtures and specialty cleaning chemicals company in Atlanta. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president of human resources at National Service Industries, Inc. From 1983 to 2000, he held various positions within Polaroid Corporation, such as president and COO of Polaroid Eyewear, senior vice president of global human resources and senior director of global logistics and customer service. Mr. Parham holds both a B.S.B.A in Management and an M.B.A in Economics from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
Mr. Keith Style
VP, Operations
Mr. Keith Style serves as Asbury’s Vice President of Operations. Previously, he served as VP of Finance, overseeing the accounting, tax, planning, reporting and financial systems functions at Asbury. Mr. Style has held several roles at Asbury since joining the company in October 2003, including Vice President of Investor Relations, Director of Budgeting & Forecasting and Assistant Controller. He comes to Asbury from Sirius Satellite Radio, Inc., where he served in the planning and controllership functions for more than five years. Mr. Style began his career in public accounting and holds a B.A. in Economics and Business from Lafayette College.
