Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class Driveshaft Recall

Mercedes-Benz has announced that 2 vehicles have been affected by a Driveshaft recall.

Mercedes-Benz USA LLC. (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2020 GLE 350 vehicles. The connection of the locking ring between the front and rear part of the drive shaft might not have been installed correctly, possibly resulting in a loss of power transfer between the transfer case and the rear axle differential.

If the transfer case disconnects from the rear axle differential the vehicle could stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
